Villa Navone has belonged to the Navone family since the mid-19th century.

It is one of the oldest residences in Velva. Its walls and rooms have witnessed the defining events of the last century: two World Wars, the Italian Resistance—whose activities had one of their Ligurian epicentres at the Sanctuary of Velva, just a few kilometres from Villa Navone—and the reconstruction that followed the end of the Second World War..

During those difficult years, Villa Navone provided a haven, supporting not only members of the Navone family but also the many people who worked alongside them.

Over the years, the villa has undergone several renovations and improvements. In the 1980s, the former farmhouse was carefully converted into the apartment that our guests enjoy today. In the early 2000s, Maby Navone — owner and a renowned artist—redesigned the villa’s façade, giving it the elegant appearance it has now.

Today, Villa Navone is a place of hospitality, warmth, and shared experiences. Its doors are open to friends, guests, and everyone who loves Sungei and wanto to experience it in an authentic and meaningful way.
